The recall affects 83 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland, produced between 21 March 2024 and 04 December 2024, due to a defect in the suspension ball joint fixing screws.

Details of the Fault
On affected Opel Grandland vehicles, the fixing screws for the front left or right ball joint mount on the front lower suspension arm may be broken.
- If one screw is missing, the vehicle remains functional.
- If two screws are missing, the ball joint mount can pivot, causing the affected wheel to change direction and hit the mudguard.
This defect may result in a loss of steering control, particularly at higher speeds or during sudden manoeuvres.
