The recall, announced on 07 January 2025, concerns a suspension defect that could impair steering if left unresolved. In total, 1,471 vehicles in Ireland are affected.

Details of the Fault
The safety issue involves the front lower suspension arm:
- On some vehicles, the fixing screws on the ball joint mount (front left or right) may be broken.
- If one screw is missing, there is no immediate effect.
- If two screws fail, the ball joint mount can pivot, causing:
- The affected wheel to change direction
- The wheel to strike the mudguard
- A possible loss of steering control in the worst-case scenario
